Buy Bitcoin

This is the story of Davinci Jeremie , who worked for many years as a systems software architect. He also invested in Gold and Silver and created a YouTube channel encouraging others to invest in the precious metals. In 2011, Davinci first heard about Bitcoin. He initially thought it was a scam until he read the source code. That’s when he started investing in Bitcoin, at the time Bitcoin was priced at one dollar per bitcoin.

In 2013 he created a video urging all of his viewers and the wider investment community to buy Bitcoin. By that stage Bitcoin was around $100 per Bitcoin. Many were very sceptical about Bitcoin and did not take Davinci’s advice about investing in Bitcoin.

Please watch the video to discover the full story of Davinci Jeremie’s  Bukele’s investment in Bitcoin. After you have watched the video, please let me know your thoughts in the comments under this post or under the video on YouTube.

Will Mount Gox Change the Price of Bitcoin?

This post may contain affiliate links please read our disclosure for more info. This video was first published on my YouTube channel; you can subscribe to my channel here http://bit.ly/1BuKsoM

Mount Gox (Mt.Gox)

This is the story of Mount Gox, one of the earliest Cryptocurrency exchanges in the world. Mount Gox  was founded in Tokyo, Japan in 2010 by Mark Karpelès and at one stage it was handling 80% of all worldwide Bitcoin transactions. Unfortunately in 2014 Mount Gox was forced to close its website down because it had been hacked and 800,000 Bitcoins had been stolen.

However, after a protracted legal battle with Japanese authorities that lasted nine years and many attempts to recover Bitcoins on behalf of his customers Karpelès is now able to offer 10,000 Mount Gox customers a refund in Bitcoin. As you imagine Bitcoin has increased in price a lot since 2014.

Please watch the video to discover the full story and the likely impact that Mount Gox refunds will have on the price of Bitcoin.

$200 million of Bitcoin

This is the story of James Howells, a Welsh guy and IT specialist from Newport who accidentally threw away a computer hard drive containing 7500 Bitcoins or $200 million of Bitcoin in today’s market. In many ways James was a pioneer, he was one of the first people in Britain to mine Bitcoin using a computer and that is how he amassed 7500 Bitcoins.

Is crypto a Hedge against Inflation?

This post may contain affiliate links please read our disclosure for more info. This video was first published on my YouTube channel; you can subscribe to my channel here http://bit.ly/1BuKsoM

Inflation

Inflation is the rate at which the purchasing power of the money you hold decreases over time. In this context a hedge is a protection against or a way to avoid the impact of inflation on your money.

In this video,  I explain the effects of inflation on the money that you hold and assess the levels of interest being offered to savers by banks and building societies in the UK. I then compare these interest rates with possible returns from investing in Crypto assets and give my opinion about whether Crypto is a hedge against inflation. This does not constitute financial advice.

Is Forex Trading Hard to do?

This post may contain affiliate links please read our disclosure for more info.

What is Forex Trading?

If you have travelled abroad on holiday or a business trip you may have needed to buy some foreign currency to use at your destination. More than likely you will have used your home currency to buy currency for your destination country. Foreign Currency exchange or Forex trading as it is more commonly known is based on this buying and selling of currency pairs, the currency pair being the two currencies that you wish to exchange. Through the buying and selling of currencies at opportune moments it is possible to make a profit. Fundamentally Forex trading is quite easy to understand but that does not mean it’s easy to do profitably.

If you want to start Forex trading the first step would be to find a reputable broker. This article lists the top 25 Forex brokers in the UK ranked by their trust score.

Is Forex Trading Hard?

The majority of Forex traders are not making a profit and this is because of a number of reasons including; a lack of understanding of the complexities of international currency markets, a reluctance to exit a bad trade in the hope that it turns around, poor risk assessment and management, allowing greed to take over and emotionally driven trading. If you are to avoid becoming another failed Forex trader, I recommend the following steps:

*Start trading with a practice account before using any real money.

*Keep a record of all yout trades as you build up your experience.

*Understand the importance of setting up stop loss orders and apply them to your trading procedures.

*When you start, pick currency pairs that are familiar to you.

Create a daily routine that is conducive to good trading practices, sleep, exercise and nutritious food are likely to lead to better trading decisions.

In answer to the question in this post’s title, Forex trading is not hard to do but it is hard to do well. Beware of ‘Fake Gurus’ oversimplifying Forex or offering you a foolproof trading system because it is likely that they are only being successful by selling their ‘system’ rather actual trading success in currency markets.

Next Steps
