Buy Bitcoin

This is the story of Davinci Jeremie , who worked for many years as a systems software architect. He also invested in Gold and Silver and created a YouTube channel encouraging others to invest in the precious metals. In 2011, Davinci first heard about Bitcoin. He initially thought it was a scam until he read the source code. That’s when he started investing in Bitcoin, at the time Bitcoin was priced at one dollar per bitcoin.

In 2013 he created a video urging all of his viewers and the wider investment community to buy Bitcoin. By that stage Bitcoin was around $100 per Bitcoin. Many were very sceptical about Bitcoin and did not take Davinci’s advice about investing in Bitcoin.

Please watch the video to discover the full story of Davinci Jeremie’s  Bukele’s investment in Bitcoin. After you have watched the video, please let me know your thoughts in the comments under this post or under the video on YouTube.

Nayib Bukele and Bitcoin

This is the story of Nayib Bukele, the president of El Salvador. In 2021, as one of Bukele’s intiatives, El Salvador became the first country in the world to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender. Bukele gave citizens of El Salvador $30 worth of Bitcoin that they could spend via the Chiva App and Chiva wallets. Restaurants and shops were instructed to accept payments in Bitcoin. In an extremely bold and courageous move for a political leader Bukele started using the country’s money to invest directly in Bitcoin in the hope of making a profit. He received considerable criticism from around the world for doing so but at the time of writing (December 2023) this has proven to be a successful move.

Please watch the video to discover the full story of Nayib Bukele’s investment in Bitcoin. After you have watched the video, please let me know your thoughts in the comments under this post or under the video on YouTube.

Is crypto a Hedge against Inflation?

This post may contain affiliate links please read our disclosure for more info. This video was first published on my YouTube channel; you can subscribe to my channel here http://bit.ly/1BuKsoM

Inflation

Inflation is the rate at which the purchasing power of the money you hold decreases over time. In this context a hedge is a protection against or a way to avoid the impact of inflation on your money.

In this video,  I explain the effects of inflation on the money that you hold and assess the levels of interest being offered to savers by banks and building societies in the UK. I then compare these interest rates with possible returns from investing in Crypto assets and give my opinion about whether Crypto is a hedge against inflation. This does not constitute financial advice.

After you have watched the video, please let me know your thoughts in the comments under this post or under the video on YouTube.

What is Staking ?

This post may contain affiliate links please read our disclosure for more info. This video was first published on you can subscribe to my channel here http://bit.ly/1BuKsoM

Staking in Crypto

If you review the interest rates offered by traditional bank accounts and building societies in the United Kingdom, you will quickly realise that the interest rates offered are not keeping pace with inflation. At the time of writing, Inflation is at 9% in the UK, the highest level for 40 years.

Within Crypto, there is a way to earn interest on the Crypto that you hold and that is called Staking. The rates on offer are typically much higher than you will be offered at a high street bank and therefore more attractive. In this video, I answer the questions, what is staking? and how do you Stake Crypto? This is helpful for those who are relatively new to the Crypto sector. Let me know your thoughts in the comments section below. At this point, it is customary for me to remind you that I am not a financial adviser and this is not financial advice.
